Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a way to promote mental health and general well-being. Psychotherapeutic sessions provide a space to develop a deeper understanding of your personal patterns, explore the origins and management of your symptoms, and become more aware of your own needs, values, and strengths.
As a specialist for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I believe that learning from experience drives change. Our mental, emotional, physical and behavioral patterns are created through learning, often during childhood development. Going through new or corrective experiences allows us to change these patterns. A CBT is about showing you ways to cope and making solutions tangible. That's why, in addition to psychotherapeutic conversations, a CBT often also includes guided exercises such as exposures, imagination, role plays or exercises, in order to reduce stress or deal with feelings. These methods enable new learning experiences and encourage to try out changes in everyday life and to permanently apply the skills you have acquired. CBT has proven to be effective for a variety of psychological problems and is therefore one of the 4 guideline procedures in Germany that are financed by health insurance companies. CBT is planned together at the beginning of treatment, depending on your intentions and according to scientific knowledge.

I offer individual treatments and psychotherapy in group settings. Individual sessions allow for maximum focus on your individual needs, while the group setting provides a richer opportunity to explore and resolve fears and difficulties in relationships. You can find more detailed information about starting psychotherapy here.
Groups and Skilltrainings
I offer psychotherapeutic groups and skill trainings. Skill training groups are usually focussed on a certain topic, for example regulating emotions or enhancement of social skills. Other psychotherapeutic groups are more open. Please contact me for information about the current group offers.

The group setting is a great opportunity to experience and resolve themes that occur in the relation to others and that effect the ability to establish satisfying connections. Groups illuminate our vulnerabilities, fears, and strengths in relationships. Psychotherapeutic groups offer a safe environment to explore and practice new interaction styles in a playful way. When a group comes together in an understanding, non-judgmental, supportive manner, it can be of great help in correcting wounds from neglectful and abusive relationships.
Integration
In coaching sessions, I offer support regarding the integration of psychedelic experiences. This active approach to integration aims to maximize the transformational power of a psychedelic experience. Additionally, as a form of harm reduction, it can ease the integration of very challenging psychedelic experiences and reduce harmful processes.

This coaching gives space to express your experiences and explore their meaning in relation to your intention, your life story, and your current life situation. In this work I will support you to create meaning and connection to your life. This coaching can initiate changes in your life and help you implement new patterns.
The integration phase is a sensitive passage. I was studying in more scientific (assisting neuro-science, work as a psychotherapist, preparing, guiding and integrating Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy) and more traditional settings (studying indigenous traditions in the Peruvian and Brazilian amazon). Because of my mixed background, you can be sure that I will guide you with sensitivity and openness in my integration sessions. As a psychotherapist I bring a wide range of skills to my sessions, which I can apply flexibly. This includes many tools for handling psychological states, that can help dealing with stress or emotional states or improve your relations.
